Liz Boydston brings deep bankruptcy and litigation experience to her practice, navigating complex Chapter 11 cases, commercial litigation, and workouts across the United States.
She represents a wide spectrum of clients in the health care, energy, financial, and real estate sectors. These include public and private entities; hospitals and health care providers; funds and financial institutions; municipalities; public oil and gas development companies; property developers; retailers; plan, litigation, and court-appointed trustees; and multinational corporations. Liz guides clients through high stakes restructuring, insolvency, and litigation matters with a strategic and steady hand.
Liz also has significant experience defending investors in major Ponzi scheme litigation, including matters involving alleged schemes valued at up to $3.6 billion in both receivership and bankruptcy contexts. She previously served as a law clerk to Chief Bankruptcy Judge Bill Parker of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Liz is a leader in bankruptcy law across the country and in the Dallas legal community, volunteering her time as an organization leader and mentor, as well as a long-time moot court coach for students.
