He has represented debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, individual creditors, secured lenders, and potential purchasers in Chapter 11 cases and out‑of‑court restructurings.
Max previously practiced at other leading global law firms where he represented debtors and creditors in some of the largest Chapter 11 cases in the country, including matters involving liabilities exceeding $50 billion. His experience also includes significant work in energy, retail, health care, and major mass‑tort bankruptcies.
Max previously served as a law clerk to Hon. Kevin Carey, Hon. Christopher Sontchi, and Hon. Mary Walrath of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
